Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-02-04
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Alqesoft’s websites and software services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Definitions
“Customer” means the organization or individual that creates a tenant account.
“Users” means individuals authorized to access the tenant account.
“Customer Data” means data and content submitted to the Service by or for Customer (e.g., invoices, payments, client records).
“Plans” means subscription tiers and limits described on the Billing pages.
2. Accounts & access
- • You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- • You are responsible for all activity under your account, including actions taken by Users you invite.
- • Tenant administrators are responsible for managing access, permissions, and security within their tenant.
- • You must promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Subscriptions, billing & trials
3.1 Plans and limits
Plans may include limits (for example, number of users, customers, or invoices per month). Limits may be enforced by the Service.
3.2 Billing cycle, taxes, and payments
Paid Plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly cycle (as applicable). You agree to pay all fees and applicable taxes. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers.
3.3 Trials
If a Plan includes a trial, trial length and eligibility may be displayed during signup or on the Billing pages. We may modify or end trials to prevent abuse.
3.4 Changes, downgrades, and refunds
You can upgrade or downgrade Plans based on what the Service supports. Some changes may affect features and limits immediately. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable. If we choose to provide credits or prorations, that is at our discretion.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activities
- • Attempt to bypass authentication, authorization, usage limits, or tenant isolation
- • Interfere with or disrupt the Service (e.g., malware, denial-of-service, automated scraping without permission)
- • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except to the extent permitted by law
- • Upload content that infringes rights or violates privacy
We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe your use threatens the Service, other customers, or security.
5. Customer Data
5.1 Ownership
As between you and Alqesoft, you own your Customer Data.
5.2 Our permission to host and process
You grant us permission to host, store, transmit, and process Customer Data only to provide, secure, and improve the Service.
5.3 Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Availability & support
We aim to keep the Service reliable, but it may be unavailable from time to time (for example, due to maintenance, updates, or factors outside our control). We may change or discontinue features as we improve the product.
Support is provided through channels we make available (for example, email support). Response times may vary by Plan.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay fees (for paid Plans), or if required for security/legal reasons.
After termination, your access to the Service will stop, and we may delete Customer Data after a reasonable period consistent with our retention practices.
8. Legal terms
8.1 Intellectual property
We own the Service, including software, design, and trademarks. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the Service.
8.2 Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
The Service helps you manage records; you are responsible for the accuracy of accounting entries and compliance obligations.
8.3 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alqesoft will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
8.4 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
8.5 Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
